Megan

So… Tell us a little bit about yourself…
I grew up in Arlington, Virginia, with my two loving parents and younger sister who is now a freshman at the University of South Carolina. I graduated from Yorktown High School in 2004, before I began my college career at West Virginia University. I am currently a senior and will graduate in May ’08. I am not sure what job I would like to have in the future. However, I’m a communications major and my interests are in advertising, public relations and anything that involves interacting with people. My work experience to date includes life guarding at my community pool, waitressing, retail work at a women’s clothing store and working as an intern at the McGinn Group MS&L public relations firm in Arlington, Virginia.

What is the worst job you ever had and why? Babysitting elementary school boys! Very active, would not listen, enjoyed making trouble and running around the neighborhood.

What did you want to be as a kid? wanted to be a veterinarian.

If you won the Million Dollar Jackpot today… What would you do? I would give some of the money to a great charity – the Make a Wish Foundation which is the national philanthropy of my sorority, Chi Omega. I’d also love to treat my friends and myself to a relaxing, warm, tropical vacation -- away from the winter cold!   I would invest the rest of the money wisely.

If you could have dinner with anyone (past or present) who would it be? I would absolutely love to meet Julia Roberts. She is not only beautiful and talented but also seems very down to earth and a loving mother. She epitomizes a true Hollywood icon.

If you were stranded on a desert island for the next 10 years and one person was stuck with you…Who would it be? Why? Honestly, David Beckham pops into my head first. Ten years is a long time and I can only image he’d be great companionship as well as entertaining. With that face and that accent, anything he talked about would seem interesting!

The food you can’t live without? All things chocolate, I have a huge sweet tooth and just cannot resist chocolate. I also love seafood, Maryland crabs in particular.

What’s your favorite Holiday? Christmas is most certainly the most wonderful time of the year! I have such great childhood memories of Christmases past and I can’t help but to be in a good mood during this time. I love the music, the smell of baking cookies and seeing friends and family.

Top five movies of all time? The Notebook, Pearl Harbor, Dirty Dancing, Braveheart, and Wedding Crashers.

Three favorite Television Shows? Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives and Oprah.
What’s the funniest thing you have ever experienced? I was waitressing at a restaurant at the beach one summer. The entire restaurant was packed and I was waiting on a table of ten. I nervously approached their table carrying a large tray with their meals. As I was placing the tray on the stand, it slipped and in a gallant effort to save the food I dove to the floor and under the tray. The food slopped a bit, water glasses went spilling but, all in all, I made the save laying there on the floor. Everyone turned and stared and then the restaurant erupted in applause!

If they made a movie of your life, what star would play you? Cameron Diaz.

What would the title of the movie be? Red High Heels

You find a hundred dollar bill on a bank floor…What do you do with it? I would turn it into the bank manager in case someone came back looking for it. But I can think of a whole bunch of things I would love to use it for…Steve Madden high heels…a great cocktail dress…

This is the last concert you will ever see…Who is it? Rascal Flatts!
