Every year, people all over West Virginia make New Year's resolutions.  However, most of them don't last beyond a few weeks or months.  That's why Jack picks one MAGIC listener each year and devotes all of the resources of the MAGIC Morning Show to keeping this person on track until they meet their goal.

This year's candidate is a man known simply as "Schmitty."  He is a 49 year old bus driver for the city of Fairmont.  Schmitty has turned his life over to Jack in the hopes that he will be able to lose 50 lbs in 2008 using Jack's exclusive program of diet and ridicule.

Jack has put together a team to work with Schmitty which includes dietician Kathy Shaw and a membership for Schmitty at the Country Club Health Center in Fairmont.  

So far, Schmitty is on track to reach his goal.  Schmitty joins Jack each week with a progress report on the MAGIC Morning Show.
